Telephone Customer Rates

Small telephone companies in California that receive a subsidy from the California High Cost Fund-A for the purpose of minimizing rate disparity of basic telephone services between rural and metropolitan areas (supported by all telephone customers statewide), are required to justify the reasonableness of their business expenditures through a regular General Rate Case at the CPUC.

See Individual Rate Case proceedings by telephone company.
